3-8-1 Love Yourself Release!

3-8-1 Candles is proud to announce that our "Love Yourself" product line will be released in April! This is a natural extension of our Luxuries we Love box, and it is happening solely because of the incredibly positive reaction to the LWL box. Our new nail polishes were especially popular and so many customers asked us to make them full time, we've decided to listen to you!

In addition to this, and in keeping with our commitment to natural body and facial care, we will be debuting some new cosmetics. Just as with our other LWL products, these will be natural products that not only make you look beautiful, they make you feel good too.

We are calling the 3-8-1 product line stemming from LWL the "Love Yourself" products. As always, 3-8-1 is 3 words, 8 letters, and 1 meaning: L O V E! We want to help you love yourself with our new products, and look forward to sharing them with you!

3-8-1 Candles Natural Lids

We've had a lot of questions about the custom designed 3-8-1 Candles lids recently so we decided to dedicate today's blog post to answering those questions!

What are the Lids Made From?

The lids are made from naturally fallen pine, oak, cedar, cherry, walnut, and other local Wisconsin trees.

Why does Each Lid look Different?

The lids look different because they are just as unique as the tree they came from. You will notice the natural wood grain, the knotholes, and a whole multitude of natural wood variations! Much like snowflakes, no two lids are ever alike. The variations are absolutely normal, and, in fact, they are one of the things that makes the lids so special.

Who Makes the Lids?

The lids are custom made for us by Creative Edge Landscapes, a local Wisconsin woodworking and landscape design business that has the same commitment to high quality as we at 3-8-1 Candles do.

How are the Lids Finished?

Creative Edge Landscapes uses a custom high quality lacquer to finish the lids and provide the lovely gloss and sheen you'll love to show off. This lacquer is also extremely helpful for lid reuse. One of the most popular reuses among our fans has been coasters -- and the special lacquer helps repel water and the sweating of glasses and cans.

What is in Store for the Lids?

We have some exciting changes and upgrades to the lids coming up soon, so stay tuned! They will still be the gorgeous hand crafted wood, but they'll look even more beautiful in upcoming months.
